A dose of ME.

First official blog... 30 something or another, wife of an amazing husband who dearly loves me, mom of three little people, business owner, farmer I guess you could say a Jill of all trades!  I come from a family of five in a small rural town in southern MN - at least it was rural when I lived there.  Graduated high school, went on to college, graduated, worked, did the all american things that most people do - then in 2003 I met Jon my husband - after that life was never the same!  You see there is an 8 year age difference between us - not a big deal but being that I was eh hem... nearing 30 when we got married and we knew we wanted to have children "some day" that some day had to come quickly.  In fact it came so quickly that there were a lot of folks wondering if there was an overlap in our marriage and first pregnancy.  There was not by the way.  Needless to say we were married in Dec. 2005 and we had our first amazing little bundle of... joy... in November of 2006.  Morgan was/is the child that from day one we have called - spirited.  Truthfully it is good she was first because for new parents we had no idea that it was any easier than what we had, which was by no means easy but that's parenting right??  Never a dull moment.  In 2009 our second daughter Nora was born 3 and 1/2 weeks early (this by the way is when we learned children are not all "spirited")and in 2011 our Son Jack was born 5 weeks premature.  Needless to say there will be no more children.  So this is me - I honestly have no idea where this blog will take me but I had some extra time in life now since I gave up one of my businesses and this seemed like a great way to fill the blanks in!
